Blog #2: My hitting Journey
Today I’ll be talking about my hitting journey. When I would play with my friends in a circle, I could hit a bit. I wasn’t very good though. Whenever I played with my family or with friends with a net, my approach wasn’t good. I couldn’t jump, or hit. I only knew how to roll the ball over. I wanted to be better. Over the summer after Junior year, I went to volleyball camp with my Cousin. We learned how to approach, time, and hit. Whenever I tried, I still didn’t get any better. I kept hitting into the net and my timing was off. When senior year started, there was a net that we got to play with outside. I still wasn’t very good at hitting. I had a friend who can set the ball. He would set for my friends and me. I still tried even if it wasn’t good. The more I tried, the more my Approach got better. I still wasn’t good at hitting.
